BSCC - Women's Series - Laura Massey Winning

Laura Massey claimed another win in Women’s Team Series during round 4, promoted by Banbury Star CC, to also scoop £100 first prize. The toughest circuit in the series claimed relatively few riders, who managed to complete the race.

The circuit is most infamous for The Knowle in Edgehill, a gruelling 800m of climbing that the riders must endure several times throughout the 72Km 3 lap race. The area is historical known for the Battle Of Edgehill during the English Civil War, but this isn’t a history lesson, Jessie Walker Matrix Fitness Vulpine, 2nd overall, claimed an historic victory nearly 400 years later by winning QoM prize.
