Co-hosts Timothy John and Phil Jones MBE, the Managing Director of Brother UK, share their excitement for the return of the national championships to Winnats Pass for the first time in 40 years and offer observations on the contributions of a range of guests.
Brother UK-sponsored athletes Rebecca Richardson and Adam Kenway, WinNats21 organiser Nick Latimer and mechanic Rick Bailey are just some of the contributors to this detailed look ahead to what promises to be a memorable return to the home of British hill climbing.

Larry Hickmott, the founder and editor of VeloUK, and photographer Tony Wood share their experiences of covering hill climbs. Jack Young, the newly-crowned Shropshire junior hill climb champion and a young man with autism, celebrates the inclusivity of a sporting community where competitors share information and cheer each other to the finish line.
The 2021 National Hill Climb Championships starts at 8am on Sunday October 31. Some 300 riders will battle for honours in categories for junior men, junior women, senior men and senior women. Favourites for the senior titles include defending champions Bithja Jones and Andrew Feather, Rebecca Richardson and Adam Kenway, Mary Wilkinson and Tom Bell, Illi Gardener and Dan Evans, and a host of other form riders.
The championships begin at 8am, with the first rider away at 30 seconds past the hour. Competitors will follow at 30-second intervals throughout the morning. Follow VeloUK on Twitter, @velouk for live coverage of the climax of this year’s hill climb season.
