The Ribble CX SL In detail
Seamless Integration
Fully internal cable routing and compatibility with the Level 5 Carbon integrated bar system provides for a super-clean front end and makes for quick cleans and less maintenance at pit stops.
Advanced Monocoque Construction
Lightweight and rugged the CX SL features an advanced monocoque construction and full EPS inner core system for consistent strength and improved torsional stiffness. The race enhanced geometry provides compliance through dropped stays across varied terrains without loss of power.
Control and Grip
Full carbon monocoque front forks for a lightweight and stable handling front end with generous mud shedding clearance.
Optimised Power Transfer
Oversized down tube to bottom bracket integration for increased stiffness and power transfer. Threaded BSA bottom bracket offer reliable, smooth running and ease of maintenance.
Stopping Power
Both power and control are optimised through powerful flatmount brakes and a 142 x 12mm thru axle
The CX SL frameset is manufactured from a carefully selected blend of Toray’s T1000 and T800 carbon layered to an exacting specification using an advanced monocoque mould technology incorporating an EPS inner core system which ensures complete consistency of the structural integrity of the fibres and resin throughout the frame. This system also eliminates excess material on the inside of the frame.
Power transfer and torsional stiffness have been taken into account through the tapered downtube, oversize BB area and box section chain stays ensuring that your power is efficiently transferred to forward motion. The tapered fork steerer, oversize headtube area and fork profile ensure that front end stiffness is taken care for out of the saddle efforts. Compatible with LEVEL 5 integrated carbon cockpit enabling all cables to be routed internally and away from the airflow generating over 40% less drag compared to a conventional bar and stem set up.
