Women’s Team Series: Coalville Wheelers

Jennifer Holden, riding for Fusion Racing Team, outsprinted the main bunch by 3 bike lengths to win the final Women’s Team Series race superbly organised by Nick Horner-Maddocks and the Coalville Wheelers

This final race is also the longest at 101 kilometres and raced on an always difficult course was mainly attritional; Team Series leaders Cycle Team on Form, as expected, entered a full team with Alicia Speake their highest placed rider in 4th place.

When all the points were added up at the the end of the race it was Cycle Team on Form who have won this season long competition and it will be their name on the trophy.
