Dodging the heavy rain showers the penultimate round of the Women’s Team Series, held at Cyclopark Gravesend, Jessica Finney (guesting for Cycle Team on Form) won the bunch sprint. A disappointingly small field lined up – including winner of the supporting race – Kerry Middleton, Twickenham CC; the bunch mainly stayed together despite some spirited attacks so a bunch Sprint was inevitable.
