TEAM NEWS: Tofauti Everyone Active reveals its roster for 2025
With riders only staying in the junior ranks for two years, each year brings news of riders moving onto the Under 23 ranks as younger riders step up from the Youth ranks.

Riders moving on this year include Carys Lloyd, the first graduate from the Tofauti stable to move directly to the World Tour, joining Movistar on a three-year contract from 2025. Meanwhile, Lucy Benezet Minns also heads abroad to join the Lotto Destiny Continental team. Staying in the UK, Mari Porton heads to the Alba Continental team and Amelia Cebak to the Pro-Noctis Continental team. On the men’s side, Ollie Boarer progresses to SCO Dijon, one of the leading French DN1 teams.

All of Tofauti’s first-year juniors from 2024 remain with the team for 2025, while one second-year male junior is added. Rory Gravelle steps across from the Decathlon AG2R team, one of several British riders who return to British teams after a year with a team on the continent.

One second year female junior also joins, which marks the first time the team has taken a rider from outside the UK and Ireland. Lidia Cusack from the USA joins, a rider the team has been watching for some years now. Recently 11th at the Time Trial World Championship in Zurich, Cusack comes in as the current USA national TT champion, although her strong and aggressive road racing approach was what first grabbed the team’s attention.

Coming in as first year junior women are Megan Cherry, Seren Thomas, Gabby McHugh and Ruby Isaac. On the junior men’s side, Albie Jones, Alex Coles, Ollie Tregear and Harley Widdowson step up to the team as first years.

Team principal Ian Mansel-Thomas said of the signings, “I’m really excited by the quality of the riders that we’ll have for 2025. It’s also important for us that we have a squad that can work together for the good of the team – it’s an important lesson for junior riders that cycling, when pursued at the top level, is a team sport. So, all our riders will have opportunities for themselves and opportunities to help their teammates – they’re here to develop and learn, and they’ll succeed at that when they do it together.”

Ian continued, “We have some real talents in the new line up, from exceptional climbers to aggressive rouleurs to snappy sprinters. I’m also really excited to see the team recruit from beyond the British Isles. It’s certainly a team that can continue to make waves in 2025.”
