BMCR RESULT: The Ron Day MK Bowl Circuit races (July 23rd)

The final Ron Day Memorial MK Bowl races IN 2024 – Race 11 -23rd July (Sponsored by Church Lane Creative). FROM THE ORGANISERS

WOW – what a season, I’ve loved it. 11 great races and the best part being that they were all safe and we kept our wonderful first aider Peter Nolan bored EVERY week. Well done everyone 🙂

With thanks to all our helpers tonight and good weather, we were able to run the race out of the bottom gates from the gun. The A/B/C/D race mainly stayed together with a few attempts at breaks, Darren Farr took a lone lead with a few laps to go staying away to win the race with a Tadej Pogačar style finish, with Martin Quill winning the bunch sprint behind.

The E/F/G/H looked fast tonight but they mainly stayed together with James Stewart winning the bunch sprint. Huge huge thanks to everyone who has supported these events by racing and helping. I have really enjoyed promoting again this year.
Thank you for the kind gifts it was very thoughtful and very appreciated. Well done to all our winners of tonights race as well as our series trophy winner Tony Carter who won his age catagory the most times this season and is now the proud owner of the Ron Day Memorial cup for a year.

Congratulations to all the age related points winners too, sponsored by (with huge thanks) Corley cycles and The Bike Bus.
