In the Masters over 40 3/4 cat a break of 4 eventually formed from which Steve Abbott (steveabbottcyclingcoach.com) was first and 40+ winner from Kev Chadwick 2nd and 50+ winner, Gareth Kerr 3rd and 2nd 40+ and Ryan Moore 4th and 3rd 40+. Mark Laidlaw left the bunch alone in the closing stages to just claim 5th and 2nd 50+ before Rob Pye won the sprint for 6th overall and 1st 60+

The Open 2/3/4 race saw attacking right from the off and eventually a break of seven formed and stayed clear, with Harvey Stroh getting a clear win from a photo-finish second place between Dan Eastham and Matt Jones.
