Introducing EvoDevo Cycling: Empowering Young British Racing Cyclists on the International Stage
EvoDevo is thrilled to announce its official launch as a not-for-profit company dedicated to advancing the evolution and development of young British off-road racing cyclists on the international stage. Our mission is to provide aspiring riders with unparalleled opportunities to forge successful and fulfilling careers in the world of cycling.
At EvoDevo, we firmly believe that every talented young cyclist deserves a chance to thrive in their passion for cycling. We are committed to fostering an environment that nurtures their potential and propels them to achieve greatness.
Our Focus
EvoDevo’s primary focus is to offer young bike riders the best chance of realising their full potential in the cycling world while ensuring they enjoy every step of their journey. We are dedicated to driving evolution in British racing cyclists, helping them reach new heights in their careers.
Moreover, we understand the value of an inclusive and supportive cycling community. Thus, EvoDevo is equally dedicated to advancing the broader cycling community by sharing knowledge, experience, and guidance throughout this transformative journey.
Our Objective
As a not-for-profit Community Interest Company (CIC), EvoDevo’s objective is to provide young British bike riders with unparalleled opportunities for growth, learning, and exposure to high-level racing and cycle sport. International race trips are often daunting and costly, and we aim to guide and educate those involved to create increased access to such vital experiences.
In line with our focus on the wider cycling community, we are committed to involving parents, coaches, and volunteers in the development process. By educating the cycling community at large, EvoDevo seeks to leave a sustainable legacy that will benefit generations of cyclists to come.
What We Offer
EvoDevo is geared to organise a range of impactful initiatives, including:
• International Race Trips: We will facilitate international race trips, providing young riders with invaluable exposure to high-level racing environments and different cultures.
• Coaching Sessions: Our experienced and qualified coaches will lead coaching sessions designed to enhance each rider’s skills and techniques.
• Training and Education Camps: EvoDevo will conduct training and education camps to develop riders’ physical and mental abilities, equipping them to face the challenges of professional cycling.
• Guidance for Riders, Parents, and Coaches: EvoDevo will offer valuable advice and information to riders, parents, and coaches to ensure they are well-prepared and informed throughout the journey.
Our Funding and Functionality
As a Community Interest Company (CIC), EvoDevo Cycling operates as a limited not-for-profit company exclusively for the benefit of the cycling community. All funds generated by EvoDevo will be reinvested in achieving our objectives.
The company is primarily funded by generous partners, donations, and grants from various sources that share our vision for the growth and development of young British racing cyclists. EvoDevo Cycling will be overseen by dedicated members who are passionate about empowering young cyclists. Our team comprises a mix of internal staff and external experts who will deliver a diverse range of activities, ensuring a high professional standard in all our endeavours.
We are eager to kickstart our journey with three international cyclo-cross race trips over the upcoming winter season for Junior riders. Interested parties can register their interest, and all details regarding selection criteria, trip dates, and educational meetings will be shared in due course.
Join Us on the EvoDevo Journey!
EvoDevo Cycling invites all cycling enthusiasts, potential partners, and individuals committed to the growth of British racing cyclists to join us on this transformative journey. Together, we can inspire and empower the next generation of cycling champions.
