Race Headquarters: Race HQ and team/rider parking is at Market Rasen & Louth RUFC, Willingham Road, Market Rasen, LN8 3RE
Bike Checks: All riders will be subject to a bike check in advance of the start of their event. All bikes and equipment must be compliant with the British Cycling and UCI regulations. All riders must report to the start area 10 minutes before their start time to allow sufficient time for the bike check to take place. The official bike check will take place at the start location. A measuring jig will be available at the race HQ for riders to check their bikes in advance of travelling to the start.
Start Location: The Start line is on the Cow Lane/Rasen Road junction in Tealby, 3.5 miles from Race HQ and will be signed as per the route over page. Please allow 15mins to ride to the start. Please note there will be no opportunity to warm up at the start location due to limited available space.
Directions to the Start: Turn right from race HQ on the A631, take the left turn onto Sandy Lane, follow this into the Tealby then turn left on to Cow Lane (see map below). After finishing riders will leave the course by Cow Lane and should re-trace the route back to Race HQ unless they are required for Doping Control or the ‘Hot Seats’ for podium places on the BC truck at the finish line.
Following Cars: Team managers who wish to follow their riders during the race must sign on in advance of the event and declare which rider(s) they will be following. All drivers must have a valid race licence with the appropriate Team Manager or Sports Director endorsement. Drivers will receive an identification sticker at sign-on to allow access to the course. If following multiple riders, drivers will be given an identification sticker for each rider and must display the correct sticker for the rider they are following when on the course.
Following cars should access the course via the same route as the riders. All vehicles must strictly follow the direction of the race. Driving against the race route is strictly forbidden. Drivers must keep to the rear of the rider they accompany with a minimum distance of 10 metres. Cars that are not following riders during the event will not be permitted access to Tealby due to limited parking availability. There is parking at Wright’s of Willingham, Ash Grove, Market Rasen LN8 3RA and a public footpath direct to the course (approximately 1mile).
Hot Seat: Throughout the event the leading 3 riders will be held at the British Cycling truck at the race finish line in ‘Hot Seats’.
Team managers and rider supporters please be prepared with warm clothing for your riders.
Podium presentations for the top three riders will be held on the British Cycling truck at the finish line. Riders are required to appear in their team racing attire, with no headwear or sunglasses.
