The Continental Grand Prix 5000 cream sidewall tyre is back! Continental brings colour range to the Tour de France
News: Continental GP 5000 Cream Sidewall
Continental announces cream sidewall, transparent sidewall and classic black options for Grand Prix 5000 clincher road tyres. Available worldwide from 12 July.
To celebrate the 2021 Tour de France, Continental has announced the return of the cream sidewall Grand Prix 5000 road tyre, which joins the transparent sidewall and traditional black tires to form the new colours range.
Initially available as a Special Edition for the Tour de France 2020, Continental have responded to ongoing customer demand for the distinctive cream wall colourway by making it a permanent feature in the expanding Grand Prix 5000 lineup.
With the battle for the famous yellow, green, white, and polka dot jerseys well underway, Continental will celebrate and reflect on the iconic styling and history of Le Tour’s famous colour range with its own expanded colour offering. The new range is designed to offer more aesthetic choice for road riders and racers wanting to use the industry benchmark for all round performance, the Grand Prix 5000 road tyre.
The full range of colours all benefit from the same best-in-field features as the core Grand Prix 5000 tyre model: Active Comfort Technology designed to reduce vibration and for the smoothest possible ride, Vectran Breaker for high-class puncture protection, LazerGrip for outstanding cornering. Continental’s unique Black Chili compound for the best possible balance between grip, mileage and low rolling resistance.
