BC NATIONAL ROAD SERIES EVENTS

WOMEN’S NATIONAL ROAD SERIES
The Women’s National Road Series features seven rounds, starting with the ANEXO/CAMS Women’s CiCLE Classic in March. Riders will take on a range of challenging terrains, from the demanding circuit of the Lincoln Grand Prix to the hills of Yorkshire.

Round 2: East Cleveland Classic – 13 April (Community Traffic Management)

MEN’S NATIONAL ROAD SERIES
The Men’s National Road Series will see six rounds of electrifying competition. From the punchy banks of East Cleveland to the Monument that is the Lincoln Grand Prix, to the historic Beaumont Trophy, this series provides a platform for Britain’s best riders to showcase their abilities.

Round 3: Tour of the Reservoir, Consett – June 22
Round 4: Witheridge Grand Prix, Witheridge (SW England) – 27 July

NATIONAL CIRCUIT SERIES
The fast-paced National Circuit Series will deliver thrilling town-centre racing throughout July. With six rounds featuring iconic venues such as the Sheffield Grand Prix and new additions like the Dawlish Grand Prix, this series will be a crowd favourite.

Round 2: Ilkley Cycle Races – 4 July
Round 3: The CANYON Guildford Town Centre Races – 9 July
Round 4: Sheffield Grand Prix – 16 July

JUNIOR WOMEN
The Junior Women’s National Road Series will return as a standalone competition, rather than a combined Junior and Under-23 Women’s Road Series.

The Junior Open National Road Series will feature eight rounds, offering opportunities for young riders to compete at a high level across a diverse range of courses.

YOUTH NATIONAL SERIES
The Youth National Circuit Series returns with eight rounds of thrilling action. The National Youth Circuit Championships will take place at Pembrey (Wales). The calendar includes races across the UK, from the Isle of Man, to Scotland, to Hillingdon, promising competitive racing for aspiring young riders.

NATIONAL TRACK SERIES

National Track Series
Starting in October 2025 and running until January 2026, the Lloyds National Track Series will consist of four rounds, incorporating a sprint, endurance and para-cycling league. The rounds will incorporate a national championship event into each, including the elimination, team pursuit, omnium, Madison and 1km time-trial.

The elite national programme dates are reflected to ensure road racers can enter the endurance events and get race ready ahead of the Lloyds National Track Championships, which take place annually in February.

– Round 1: Derby (Sprint and endurance, incorporating national elimination) – 19 October 2025
– Round 2: Newport (Para-cycling, sprint and endurance, incorporating national team pursuit) – 15-16 November 2025
– Round 3: Manchester (Para-cycling and endurance, incorporating national omnium and national Madison) – 20-21 December 2025
– Round 4: Glasgow (Para-cycling and sprint, incorporating national 1km time-trial) – 24-25 January 2026

National Summer Series
National Summer Series, which will bring to life our outdoor velodromes and revive our historic blue-ribbon events. It will also provide club riders with the opportunity to automatically qualify for the Lloyds National Track Championships from 2026 onwards.

YOUTH NATIONAL SERIES
While our successful National Youth Omnium Series will remain for the 2025 season, with riders competing in four qualifying rounds for the national final, the National Sprint Future Series is a new addition to our youth and junior offering. Harnessing the inspiration of Emma Finucane and Jack Carlin, the National Sprint Future Series provides young riders with the opportunity to test their sprinting prowess.

Sundorne (Shrewsbury) Circuit Races 2025 –  Mid Shropshire Wheelers intend to run a series of events on the circuit at the Sports Village one Sunday each month from late March until early July. There will youth age group races plus Cat 2/3 and Cat 4 races. The dates will be published once all are confirmed with BC. Sounds like you will be busy Dave Mellor
