The newly released Primal Echo Aire Elite Skinsuit had its first taste of success in Britain at the British Track Championships where riders in the suit won Gold and Bronze medals.

In the Women’s 500 metre Time Trial, Ellie Coster (Team Wales) wore the skinsuit on her ride to victory whilst in the Team Pursuit, the Wales Academy team of Matt Burke, Daniel Coombe, Oscar Mingay, William Roberts was third in the men’s Team Pursuit.

Racing against the clock, a fast skinsuit is essential to move through the air and the Primal skinsuit is engineered to reduce drag and increase accuracy in muscle movement. Designed using advanced three-dimensional modeling, this skinsuit is tailored to fit riders in an aggressive, time-trial position.

The body of the suit is constructed with lightweight Z92 fabric, employing a dimpled technology to break the surface tension and improve aerodynamics. The suit has been in development for two years, with feedback from Team Raleigh, Wales and the prototypes were used in the Colorado Classic stage race by the jersey wearers. It is available to clubs, men and women and for those thinking of using it for road racing or long time trials, it can come with pockets too.
