News: Success for Canyon
On top of the wins by Valverde on his Canyon Ultimate and the Canyon-SRAM Women’s team at the Worlds on their TT bikes; the Canyon Roadlite CF 9.0 wins a T3 magazine award
In the Elite Men’s World Championship road race, Alejandro Valverde powered his Canyon Ultimate to victory on the very hilly course whilst a week earlier, the Canyon SRAM Women’s team also won a World title on board their Canyon time trial bikes.
The success for the brand continues though with the Canyon Roadlite CF 9.0, one of the top-spec flagship models within the Canyon fitness range, has been awarded with a T3 Award for Best Bike 2018.
The T3 Awards celebrate gamechanging technology and innovators that transform the world we live in for the better. Highly coveted, they are awarded only to those demonstrating unrivalled innovation and excellence within their categories. Although the T3 awards have been running for more than 10 years already, 2018 was the first year where they have gone beyond their traditional remit and expanded the number of categories – although still grounded in tech – to include ‘Best Bike’.
“The Roadlite CF is a road bike that’s fit for a range of purposes, from cycling to work and back, to providing you with a serious cardio workout on the weekends. It’s made for comfort, with built-in tech that guarantees a smooth ride.” – Duncan Bell, Lifestyle Editor at T3
For Canyon, ‘German Engineering’ is not a cliché. Innovation and technology are not just buzzwords, they have actual substance. As testimony, we need only to look to the awards we have picked up on the way, the Roadlite CF continues to add to its history of prestigious awards: Right after its launch in 2017, this outstanding fitness bike was first
recognized as ‘Best of the Best 2017’ – the highest achievement of the world-renowned Red Dot Award alongside the Eurobike Award 2017 & the iF Gold Award in 2018.
“For the Roadlite CF, our main focus was on creating a clean and precise look to underline the athletic function of the bike“, said Roadlite Designer Fedja Delic. “With the well-balanced mix of newly developed features and first-class components, the Roadlite CF guarantees pure riding pleasure for fitness fans on every challenging tour.”
