Ben Turner Signs for Belgian Cyclo Cross Team

Belgian Beobank- Corendon Cyclocross Team announces the signing of  Ben Turner.

“We are very happy to announce the signing of Ben Turner as the first British rider in the team where he will become the teammate of by example Mathieu Van der Poel and Tom Meeusen.”

Ben says of the signing “Having the opportunity to ride for the biggest Cyclocross team is a big dream and comes with a chance to prove myself in Belgium”, says Ben Turner. ““I will move to Belgium in September to live with a Belgian family, who are very dedicated to cycling. In this way, I hope to prepare myself still better for racing and Cyclocross.”

After a fantastic bronze medal at the Junior World Championships in Bieles this year, Ben will become an U23-rider next season. “We realize this will be a big challenge but Ben is however very motivated to show his new colours and to get some results” says the team.

Ben adds “My goals for the season will be to improve from last year and to get the best results possible as a first year U23. It will take a bit of time to adapt and it is a big step up so will come with more hard work but I am excited with the opportunity.”
