Ollie Maxwell sprinted to victory at the top of Naseby hill to win the Duncan Murray Wines RR after a damp 64 miles. William Haynes finished second ahead of Jack Waller from a leading group of nine. In a race that ebbed and flowed the terrain led to some aggressive racing. Michael Burke finished 18th and first Welland rider to win the Abbey Trophy.
