Results – Velo29 Winter Series Round 1

Week 1 saw 135 riders spread across the 3 races. It started a damp but mild (for the time of year) day but there were showers whilst the 4th and Ladies races were running but the E/1/2/3/4 was ran off in really good conditions, with very little wind for Croft!

Both of the men’s races came to a sprint finish where it was great to see the newly titled Planet X – Northside Cycling score what will no doubt be their first of many wins! Manilla Cycling were looking stronger than ever. Manilla are one of the best supported local racing teams with big numbers in each race. They are bringing a lot of ladies to the sport which is great to see.

There were even some Cleveland Wheelers racing, which is rare these days! Round 2 will take place on the 23rd January.
