News – Tyne Tees Road League

August is a busy month for the Tyne Tees Road League. After three rounds Alex Luhrs (Achieve Northside Skinnergate) heads the Elite Open league from Ben Hetherington (Achieve Northside Skinnergate) and Matthew Kipling (MTS Cyclesport). In the Masters league Alan Nixon (BluMilk) leads David Johnson (BluMilk) and John Davidson (Cestria Cycles).

Round 4 (Sunday Aug 09th) is the Prima Windows Circuit of Welbury, a rolling 5.6 miles loop around the beautiful lanes of Welbury and Deighton, 89 miles for the Open, 62 miles for the Masters and 50 miles for the Women.

Entries close July 26th. Non-league riders entries by post with £22 cheque to Marcus Smith, 14 Marton Gill, Saltburn, N. Yorks, TS12 1QU

Round 5 (Sunday Aug 23rd) moves to Stokesley for the Chapters Hotel & Restaurant Mike Binks Memorial. A rolling loop round Seamer with the Open race covering 86 miles, the Masters 65 and the women 52. Entries close Aug 09th.

Round 6 (Saturday Aug 29th) see the league in action for the Prima Windows/Lawson Construction Summer crits at Hetton Lyons Country Park. Entries close 16th August.
