In front of a home crowd, Scotland’s Katie Archibald celebrates a dominant win

Wearing number 1, Scotland’s Katie Archibald of Pearl Izumi Sports Tours lived up to the billing with a dominant performance. Escaping very early in the 45 minute race, the World Champion withstood several chase attempts before settling into a rythum that took her within touching distance of the peloton when she crossed the line arms aloft in front of a home crowd.
