Scottish Cycling announce the dates for the 2015 Scottish Cycling Women’s Road Race Series

Scottish Women’s Road Race Series

Scottish Cycling are delighted to announce the dates for the 2015 Scottish Cycling Women’s Road Race Series. The Series supported by Dales Cycles will consist of six races throughout the country, with events taking place in Glasgow, Inverness, Falkirk, Dundee, Banchory and Aviemore.

Vicky Strange, Scottish Cycling’s Head of Development said: “Scottish Cycling are delighted to announce the 2015 dates for the Scottish Cycling Women’s Road Race Series. Last year we saw a 35% increase in the number of females participating in cycling events throughout Scotland and I have no doubt that the Series helped us encourage more females to get on their bikes.”

“With the addition of two new event venues, we hope as many females get involved with the Scottish Cycling Women’s Road Race Series, whether they are riding for sport, leisure, to stay fit or have fun!”

Race Dates:
11th April 2015: Glasgow
3rd May 2015: Inverness
23rd May 2015: Falkirk
21st June 2015: Dundee
29th August 2015: Banchory
13th September 2015: Aviemore
