On Sunday 18th January the League of Veterans Racing Cyclists Cyclo-cross Championships will be held at Misterton Hall, nr Lutterworth, Leicestershire. The age related championship will be contested round a 1.8km circuit.

The course design with its varied terrain of fast shale pathways, tarmac roadways, dry woodlands and strength sapping meadowland will tests the competitors speed, stamina and agility as they battle for the coveted LVRC Champion jersey and medals. Following last weekend’s World Masters Cyclo-cross Championships in Switzerland the popular Misterton venue will be graced with four World Champions – Over 50’s Phil Roach, Over 60’s Dave McMullan, Over 70’s Vic Barnett & Over 75’s Mick Ives.

To date 40 riders will take to the start line at 13:30pm.
Entries close for the LVRC Championship on Saturday 10th January
Entry fee is £15 for the Vets event, cheques payable to ‘Dean Barnett’
