A/B/C/D Race Report 

A bright day but with a chilly cold wind to the evening for the first of the Ciclos Uno Summer Series race at Hog Hill where more than 30 riders took to the start line. The first breakaway of the evening came after just two laps when a group of six riders took off, but two of the main attacking riders were not part of the breakaway.

It did not take long before Antony Wallis (Ciclos Uno) and David Farrow (Eagle RC) to bridge the distance from the bunch to the break. The break now had eight riders all working to increase the time distance between them and the bunch.

At the half way point in the race, the break had now split into two groups of four riders in each group. Both leading groups went on to lap the bunch which had also split into two groups.

Towards the last few lap, Antony Wallis (Ciclos Uno) dropped his breakaway companions to win on his own. Bob Downs (Condor Team) outsprinted the second part of the breakaway group with the two bunches coming in a lap down.

E/F/G/H Race Report
The race mainly stayed together with several attemps of break aways during the race but to no avail. It did split up towards the end for the bunch to finsh in one’s and two’s. the first two riders across the line we could not separate, so we gave the equal first as it was that close.
