Results from a great event promoted by the very experienced Wakefield CC on the Sharleston circuit Wednesday evening.Â

The event was held in drizzly and raining conditions which made for some good bike handling skills on the greasy roads. The odd rider tried to clip away however, they never got more than 5 seconds before the bunch reeled them in again.
This obviously culminated in a good bunch finish, with the spoils going to Steve Hodgson, from Mark Jacobi with the experienced Darren Bendelow in third. It was a super race with credit to all the marshalls who stood out and stopped every thing with their flags on a miserable evening, especially the youngster who earnt his marshalling medal for waving his flag every lap on a sharp ninety degree bend. It certainly was a credit to Dan Haigh and his team.
