Results from the fourth and last round of the veterans (LVRC) racing held at Hog Hill on Wednesday 16th of May

Knocker Shields writes … Both races were run in dry and sunny conditions. in the A/B/CD/ race, it stayed together for the first three laps before Barry Neal (Ciclos Uno) and David Farrow (Eagle RC) broke away and gained half a lap on the bunch.
Over the next few laps, another chasing group of four riders joined the leading two riders making a breakaway group of six which went on to lap the rest of the bunch. At the finish, Barry Neal (Ciclos Uno) jumped away with 600 meters to go to take a solo win from team mate Martin Meades (Ciclos Uno).
In the E/F/G/H race Alan Williams (GS Ciucci) and Ralph Keeler (Wheels in Wheel) went for the first prime on the third lap and just carried on extending their lead lap by lap until they lapped the field. Ralph Keeler(Wheels in Wheel) jumped away from Alan Williams (GS Ciucci) to take the win.
