Active Norfolk is sponsoring a series of six circuit races in Norwich starting on August 14. The Norwich Circuit race series is a series of six dates on the following Sundays;
1. August 14,
2. August 28
3. September 11
4. September 25
5. October 9th
6. October 23rd
The venue is the County Hall, Martineau Lane, Norwicth NR1 2DH and promoted by local clubs. The races to be included in each round of the Norwich Circuit Race Series are:
RACE 1
Category: Bite Size Racing (Under 8 – Under 16)
Entry: £5.00 per round
Time: 9.30 – 11.00 am
RACE 2
Category: Circuit Omnium Series (18+)
Entry: £5.00 per round (+ £5.00 day licence for non British Cycling members)
Time: 11.30 – 1.00pm
Based on the format of track racing these events will offer:
3 or 4 races for every rider at every round
– a handicap system to guarantee close, competitive racing
– the chance to develop skills, improve fitness and have fun racing
– advice on tactics & techniques and feedback from British Cycling coaches
RACE 3
Category: County Criteriums Regional B
Entry: £10.00 per round
Time: 2.00pm
A 40 minute criterium for 3rd/4th/Women/Junior riders
Facilities
Toilets and changing area, shower (women only), drink and snack vending machines, large car park
