Marcin Bialoblocki of the Motorpoint team has won stage 6 of the An Post RAS. The Polish rider had to battle with Ukraine’s Anatoliy Pakhtusov and Sigma Sport’s Dutchman, Wouter Sybrandy over the closing miles for the stage but showing the speed and power he’s showed in UK races this year, the Motorpoint rider had little trouble getting across the line first.
Bialoblocki and the aforementioned two riders were cheered long and loud as they approached the final kilometre which was uphill where first Sybrandy had to give best before Bialoblocki drew clear of Pakhtusov to win by five seconds. Motorpoint currently lead the International Team rankings for the race while Peter Williams is in 5th place overall, only 11 seconds off the podium. The current leader of the race is Gediminas Bagdonas,of the An Post Sean Kelly team which ride Dolan Bikes, sponsors of VeloUK.
